Procedures for the body

There are many reasons why you may consider plastic surgery body procedures. Under Dr Tony Moore's guidance you will receive comprehensive advice, combined with his skill and experience as a specialist plastic surgeon.

Abdominoplasty

An abdominoplasty removes excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen and, where indicated, repairs muscle that has separated. The scar sits low on the abdomen. It is not a substitute for weight loss.

Arms (brachioplasty)

An arm reduction removes excess skin and fat of the upper arm, usually after weight loss. The scar lies along the inner arm. Liposuction alone is only suitable when the concern is fat and the skin can retract.

Liposuction

Liposuction removes localised fat through small incisions. It changes contour. It is not a treatment for obesity, and it does not tighten skin that is already loose.

Mummy makeover

This is a planned combination of procedures, commonly abdominal and breast surgery, after pregnancy is complete. Combining operations increases time under anaesthetic and the overall risk. The plan is individual.

Thigh reduction

Thigh reduction removes excess skin of the inner thigh, usually after weight loss. The scar sits in the groin and often continues down the inner thigh. Healing in this area needs close review.

Skin cancers

A skin cancer is removed with a margin of healthy tissue. The wound may be closed directly, with a graft, or with nearby skin moved into the gap. Clearance of the cancer is planned before appearance.

Call to book

A consultation is the place to match a concern to a treatment. Call to book, or send an enquiry.
